Welcome...

...to Shrewsbury Business Chamber, a non-profit making organisation run by its members, for the benefit and improvement of its members, the town of Shrewsbury and its surrounding environs, and the local community as a whole. This website is hosted by one of our members, Salop Computer Centre - we recommend them for all things IT - business, educational or home use; tablet, desktop or laptop!!!

We've been continually representing business in the Shrewsbury area since 1903, and have a dedicated executive committee who meet monthly to discuss all issues affecting business in our area. Click here to sign up.

Member news

Join us at 10.30am this Wednesday, 18th April, for our bonus networking tour of Oaklands Farm Eggs. This event is free for members and non-members alike; as the third largest producer of whole fresh eggs in the country, boasting the largest inline laying and packing line in Europe - producing almost 700 million eggs a year - it's definitely a 'must see'!

In May you'll get the chance to meet the inspiring Kelda Wood of Row to Raise - who later this year will attempt to be the first ever adaptive person to solo row the Atlantic. This networking eve will be held at the Agency, which is situated next to our favourite venue Origins, on London Road.

Executive committee meeting March 2018

The last meeting of the Executive Committee was held at Shrewsbury Shopping Centres' offices on Tuesday, 20th March 2018. Among the items on the agenda discussed, as well as the usual subsidiary committee meetings & reports, were updates on the LEP, Shrewsbury Bid and the Shropshire Business Board; the continuing progress of University Centre Shrewsbury; the Shrewsbury Integrated Transport Package; stories for the Chamber Magazine; and upcoming Chamber networking meetings for the upcoming year.
